I promised you once
That I would forever love
I promised my love to only one
I promised that you were that one
You promised me forever
Promised forever loyalty
You promised you loved me
You promised many things
I gave you my heart
You gave me my pain
My most prized possession
Your most vile ways
I provided you with that you desired
You desired the lack of what I gave you
I never knew why

Why you betrayed me

But you have now shaped my life
